Local Government Reorginisation

East Staffordshire Borough Council, alongside 5 other southern Staffordshire authorities have jointly proposed the creation of a Southern and Mid Staffordshire Unitary Authority under the plans for Local Government Reorganisation.

As part of this, we’re launching a survey to gather views on the proposal, as part of a wider public engagement running until 1st September 2025. This is an important opportunity for everyone to share their thoughts, concerns, and ideas as we explore how council services could be delivered in the future.
